North East Zone Meeting
September 14, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Presidents, Secretaries, and members of the fine NE Zone. Our first zone meeting will be at 6:30 pm at GoJo’s Restaurant, 2929 Belvidere Road (at Green Bay Road). Agendas will be sent by email next week.
I want to update the members on activities in the Zone and District. To fill us in on the 2018 District Convention, Lions Julie Stanley and Shelly Gallagher will be there to give us the word on the convention to be held at the Northbrook Renaissance Hotel from April 6-8.
If you have a conflict with another event, send another person from the club for this Zone meeting. I promise the second zone meeting will NOT be on a Thursday. I want to touch base with all the clubs. Highland Park and Lake Forest were not in this Zone last year, so please try to send a rep. I found that each club has unique ways of involving the members to raise money. This is a perfect opportunity to network and learn from others.
